Lillie and her girls meet Presque Isle voters

July 14, 2020

It was a pleasure to meet so many primary voters today!

We stopped at Morning Star Art & Framing to pickup some canvasses, brushes, and watercolors for the girls – thanks James Carroll!! – before heading down to the Presque Isle Recreation & Parks Center.

My daughters each enjoyed hearing the grownup banter while painting and even asked once asked, “Mom, are you embarrassed?” This was after a gentleman kindly told me he wouldn’t be voting for me. I replied to them, “No, I am not because I know why I’m out here… and would do my best for him too.”

We have a ways to go until November. The general election will be an opportunity for Republicans, Independents, Greens, and Democrats to vote for someone who will work right with them for #solutions – regardless of anything.
